High Pressure Water Jetting
This training course provides learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and effectively use high pressure water jetting equipment on sewerage systems
Objectives
By the end of this course the participants will be able to:
- Describe the requirements of legislation in relation to high pressure water jetting
- Select and check for suitability the necessary components required to carry out jetting
- Identify hazards and carry out a risk assessment on jetting activities
- Outline a safe system of work for a typical high pressure water jetting activity
- Safely and effectively clear a blockage using high pressure water jetting equipment

A mixture of practical training supported by trainer presentation and classroom exercises
Pre Course Requirements
Learners should attend with their own personal protective equipment which must include head, eye, ear, hand and foot protection along with overalls and foul weather clothing
