Ted Jackson joined Merit Skills at the beginning of July; after several years with a national training organisation. Ted brings 18 years experience in training and assessment of water industry and health and saftey subjects. Ted is a qualified Assessor, Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) and has worked with several awarding bodies supporting both Internal Quality Control and Compliance. In recent years he has gained experience in the use of electronic portfolios for learners undertaking competency qualifications and has been instrumental in ensuring the use of this technical enhanced the learner experience.
Before starting his career in training he had several roles in the water industry after an early life as a plumber. Ted is looking forward new role and working with the growing team at Merit Skills.
Outside of worked enjoys various leisure activities including course, sea, and beach fishing he also enjoys reading, music and walking with his partner Sheila and their dog Breeze
