Explain the key requirements of health and safety legislation in relation to lifting and excavation activities
Define the roles and responsibilities associated with lifting and mechanical excavation activities
Examine equipment and accessories used in lifting operations
Attaching lifting accessories to a variety of load using differing types of attachment
Calculate load weights and determine centres of gravity
Use appropriate communication methods between all team members
