By the end of this course the participants will be able to:

  • Explain what the law requires in respect of PPE

  • Describe how the use of PPE fits into an overall risk control hierarchy

  • Recognise typical hazards and how different items of PPE can be used

  • Outline standards that PPE should meet and how it should be selected

  • Outline how PPE should be stored maintained and replaced

A classroom based training course using a mixture of trainer presentation and desk top exercises.
