Breathing apparatus - refresher training
This course aims to provide refresher training to experienced breathing apparatus users and to assess their competence
Objectives
By the end of this course the participants will be able to:
- Describe the work place hazards that would make use of breathing apparatus necessary
- Identify and select suitable breathing apparatus and associated equipment for use in hazardous atmospheres
- Carry out pre-use inspection and maintenance of breathing apparatus
- Demonstrate safe use of breathing apparatus
Method
A classroom based training course supported with practical exercises using breathing apparatus
Pre Course Requirements
Delegates must be a current and regular user of full breathing apparatus
