The NEBOSH National General Certificate course is one of the UK’s most popular health and safety qualifications. You will be assessed on your ability to apply your skills and knowledge to a wide range of issues and ability to deliver positive change to a real workplace.

No previous health and safety knowledge is required. Students should note that the assessment includes a requirement to write a short report.

The qualification is divided into three units, each of which is assessed separately:

  • NGC1: Management of health and safety
  • GC2: Controlling workplace hazards
  • GC3: Health and safety practical application
